iAtelier
Residency

As part of the iAtelier Residency, working along Irish illustrator Claire Malone, we developed the piece 'A fated exile' that combined digital fabrication, augmented reality and traditional illustration.

The piece aimed to present a modern reinterpretation of the Irish legend “The Children of Lir”, where the four children of King Lir were magically turned into swans.

The “iAtelier” project was co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the EU and led by the Limerick School of Art and Design (LSAD). The final piece was presented at Dutch Design Week 2022 and was chosen to represent Ireland during the event’s conference.

Mexican Myths and Legends
in the West of Ireland

For my MA in Digital Media final project I created a digital tour of Galway City. Using digital tools to create new playful interactions with physical spaces, I reimagined some of the most iconic places in the city.

The main purpose of this project is to present the demographic changes that Galway has been experiencing for the last decades.

Through a series of animations, I introduce some of the most popular Mexican Myths and Legends to the streets of Galway City.

I make strong connections between physical spaces and Mexican iconography to create a reinterpretation of Galway City. The tour is designed to help people explore the city and experience it in a unique way.
