Deborah Miranda is a multidisciplinary artist with a passion for visual storytelling. Based in the West of Ireland, she works across printmaking, animation, video and digital media, often combining hand-made techniques with screen-based methods to create layered images that emphasise texture, rhythm and narrative.

Originally from Mexico City, her practice engages with migration, identity, representation and belonging, informed by her experience of living in Ireland, Mexico and the United States. She uses imagination as a creative tool to explore alternative possibilities, playful narratives and reimagined realities, while reflecting on memory, cultural identity and cultural resistance, particularly in relation to colonial histories and the ways identities and stories are shaped, erased and reimagined.
